22. Kristen's Number. 2/15/12

I had a great opening.. and then it fell flat. So. Nothing exciting- a gloomy day AGAIN. But we're moving towards spring where I expect some beautiful photos!

ODG never disappoints.

TWENTY ONE weeks of Wednesdays! 2/8/12

So yet another dreary day... and some unremarkable photos-  but here they are.  It might be interesting to see how many DULL, DREARY Wednesdays there are in a year...
Not much here but the sun's reflection over there on 10.

I have become a bit tree obsessed... I'm enjoying the ODG!  He seems to be slowly falling apart- first leaves, then limbs... maybe a "hardhat required" area come spring.

... and then there's Maude!  This was quite an interesting event to watch!  While upgrading this county parking garage- some days we have no way to get in to the library staff parking lot, some days no way out...  but oh so interesting to watch the process... I guess if I had writing skills, I'd see animals and hear noises of the jungle - or at least a zoo, but I watch in fascination and only see those issues... no way in or out... no where to park... ongoing till summer?  But the beatdown of that steel girder was pretty cool.

TWENTY 2/1/12 Another Gloomy Day... BUT

On the way to work... a rainbow that spanned Route 9 from left to right... (photos taken while driving, so not great... but it took some gloom off the morning!)

And by the time I walked through the hole in the wood, the SUN CAME OUT!  LOVELY!!  :)

Again, I'm in retrospect here... but I will catch up.

19. 19 WEEKS since I started this...

... but where is it going?  NOWHERE.

But - I'm doing it anyway.

Not much to note on this one... er.. two.  It was dull, not dreary.  Dark, no signs of the sun, which I can bet my bottom dollar was up there somewhere...  Here they are-  still liking my tree but it's looking a bit dangerous lately.

Eighteenth Wednesday out of Fifty-two

18 of 52.. moving right along.  It was sunny, it was beautiful and it was January 18, 2012.

Kevin (and Brenda's) first day of the new semester.  A nice day for a walk through the hole that is now looking much like a path through a dump.  That makes me sad.  If I weren't so tired at the end of the day, I'd bring a bag and clean it up.. maybe someday in the spring?

So.  I took a bunch of photos today-  here they are. ENJOY

You know... I never really noticed that lamp. hmmmmm Maybe TWO cups of coffee at home are in order.
Love the reflection of the tree across that one window... other than that, boring, I know.  My destination is on the right... yeah. the right...

Blue sky, nice light.

AHHHH... THIS is why I never noticed that lamp... looks much closer to the house in the first photo.
Must not be.

 Darn that Edison.

Normal 17th Wednesday

So.. back on track?  This is the Seventeenth Wednesday 1/11/12.
News to note.. Shannon Webber is 30 years old today and it IS a Wednesday.  I was so excited that it was Wednesday and it was SUNNY and my favorite old bird is in the tree through the hole AND I was racing the moon so I took several pix-  I'm posting them all.

The moon was between the tree on the left and the house, but as I got closer to the house, the phone lost sight of it... so I had to race to find it, but during the race, I spotted the old bird on the top of the RiverLook Tree. I stopped dead in my tracks.. the sky was so pretty and I think the old bird was noticing it too.

Then I remembered the moon.. so I chugged along, carrying all my "stuff"... and caught up with the moon at the library-

Can you see it?  Just over the cream colored building?
Good Night, Moon.

HAP-py New Year! Wednesday #16

January 4, 2012

Another screwy week.  The bookmobile died-  the photos make no sense to me... THIS is my lesson (for all senseless stories MUST have a lesson)... post the darn photos and comments the day you take them... memory at 56 is NOT precise.

So.  I have one picture on Wednesday, January 4... ON MY WAY HOME. MEMORY!  I had to get the ailing bookmobile for delivery to the "fix it shop" - no, not Emmet's (so I did NOT walk through the hole... but felt I better have a photo of SOMETHING on the 16th of 52 Wednesdays... so took one on the ride home)  Notice the strange black smoke towards the left?  No clue. Don't ask. Just see it?

The second picture is a glorious view from the bookmobile's home... kind of interesting, no?  I only wonder what the security people think of me snapping pictures of the ceiling.

Another Wednesday done- on Thursday.  SOON, it will get normal.
